A man whose passenger was killed in a car accident is facing drunk driving charges, according to local police. The Nov. 22 crash has led to a DUI charge for the driver, who allegedly admitted to being drunk behind the wheel when the crash occurred. His passenger was killed in the crash, and several other people were injured. He was due to appear in a Minnesota court for the first time on Dec. 10.
Everyone make mistakes, no matter our level of education, type of employment or socioeconomic standing. Even those among us who have risen to the highest levels within our career field or hold positions of high social standing are not perfect. When an error in judgment is made, it is often the way that we respond that defines the "type" of person that we are. An example is found in the case of a Minnesota attorney who is in the running for a seat on the state's Supreme Court as she battles a DUI charge.
