6 in Minnesota accused of a drug crime

It is possible that two different people could observe the exact same incident and come to two completely different conclusions. Additionally, both of those conclusions could be completely wrong in that they are based on assumptions. Without knowing the full story, it may be difficult to discern the reality of a situation. However, after three years spent observing and investigating an alleged drug ring that ran in Minnesota and other states, 12 people -- six from Minnesota -- have now been accused of a drug crime, likely based on the conclusions made by investigators.

The arrests hinged in part on an auto repair shop called Auto Laser. Police claim that a 24-year-old man used the shop as a cover for drug-trafficking. Specifically, the shop is suspected as being used as a place to store and sell methamphetamine.

Criminal charges have now been filed against a number of people as a result of a recent raid. The man mentioned above is believed to be a representative of a drug-trafficking organization and now faces charges related the methamphetamine and marijuana distribution.  Authorities believe that their investigation has effectively dismantled the organization.

The six people accused of a drug crime in Minnesota will likely need experienced representation to ensure that their various rights are upheld as they navigate through the criminal process. Regardless of what is reported in the media, there are many questions that are left unanswered regarding the methodology of the investigation and the reasons for the arrest. Prosecutors are required to provide sufficient evidence to prove that the accused are guilty beyond a reasonable doubt -- a purposefully high standard. If they are unable to do so, the accused must be found not guilty.
