Methamphetamine, other drugs allegedly found in Minnesota home

On Behalf of | Nov 13, 2015 | Drug Charges

Facing drug charges can be a very serious situation for individuals who have been accused of such activity. It was recently reported that four individuals in Minnesota were taken into custody after police reportedly conducted a search of a residence. The search was carried out after authorities were informed that the residents were allegedly selling methamphetamine and after they performed “controlled buys” from the individuals.

The search purportedly resulted in officers locating methamphetamine, marijuana, heroin and other drugs inside the residence. It was also mentioned that during the investigation, authorities had purportedly solicited prostitutes at the home as well. There were four individuals inside the home at the time of the search. Those individuals were reported as being a 39-year-old man, a 35-year-old man, a 27-year-old woman and a 28-year-old woman.

All four of those individuals were taken into custody and are facing charges. The allegations brought against them were for fifth degree drug possession. They were taken to a county jail, and it is unclear whether they were still in custody at the time of the report or whether any bail amounts had been set.

Each individual involved in this alleged incident will likely want to explore his or her legal options. Facing charges for methamphetamine and other drug possession could lead to severe consequences if the parties are convicted. Therefore, they may wish to assess their individual cases and determine how they each may want to move forward as their cases proceed to Minnesota criminal court.
