A Minnesota man may be hoping to find an effective manner in which to deal with his legal issues after recently being taken into custody. The man was labeled in reports as a “major” drug distributor and was allegedly associated with the sale of heroine, cocaine and methamphetamine. He was also suspected to have had involvement in a recent drug overdose that left another individual dead.
After the overdose, undercover police reportedly began to investigate the death, and a friend of the deceased allegedly claimed that the now accused man was the drug dealer. The investigation reportedly continued for approximately a month and involved controlled drug deals before the man was taken into custody. During the arrest, police allegedly found heroin that the man was purportedly hiding in his boot.
The man is currently facing felony charges in relation to the arrest. Allegations relating to possession and sale of various drugs have been filed against him, and in addition to those allegations, he has been charged in another county with third degree murder due to the death of the individual who allegedly overdosed. At the time of the report, the man was still being held in jail.
Due to the allegations of possessing and selling methamphetamine and other drugs as well as the murder charge, the man may find it prudent to explore his legal options in order to defend himself against the allegations. Information on Minnesota criminal proceedings relating to drug and murder charges may help him determine what steps could prove most useful to him. Furthermore, consulting with his legal counsel on the most viable ways to move forward may also be valuable.
