One man and one woman in Minnesota may be considering their legal options after recently being taken into custody. The two individuals are accused of having involvement in drug crime after a tip led to a police investigation. Reports stated that authorities were informed by an inmate that the man and woman had been selling drugs from an apartment. The individuals allegedly purchasing the drugs were reported as being teens between 13 and 15 years old.
The investigation led to authorities purportedly obtaining a search warrant that was apparently carried out when both the man and woman were at the apartment. The search allegedly resulted in police uncovering synthetic cannibinoid, prescription pills, methamphetamine residue and drug paraphernalia. It was also noted that the pair had allegedly used juveniles to sell drugs at an area high school.
Due to the reported outcomes of the investigation, the man and woman were taken into custody. They are both facing felony charges for the sale of drugs to individuals under 18 years old and employing individuals under 18 to sell drugs. Additional charges include multiple counts of drug possession.
